The Becker Lab, under the direction of principal investigator Dr. Elizabeth Becker, pursues innovative research at the intersection of hormones, neural circuits, and behavior while providing rigorous training for motivated undergraduate scientists at Lawrence University. Using the monogamous and biparental California mouse (Peromyscus californicus) as a model system, the team examines how developmental, social, and environmental factors influence neuroendocrine function and behavior across the lifespan.
